Guy wants me to pay a courier to pick up a free item
I posted an old, but still functional vacuum seal machine on FB Marketplace for free. I had a little fun with the post:
"Grumpy Vacuum Sealer - Old vacuum sealer, we got a new one so old & grumpy is out. It's a bit of a trick to get her to go, but she still works when you whisper just right & squeeze in the right spots. Maybe some tender care would make her like new, idk.
$0 OBO, no lowballs I know what I have."
Anyway I guess something in the phrasing was confusing, because I got a guy who wanted it, and said he'd send a "courier." Alright, whatever floats your boat dude. But then he started asking how he could take payment for the courier. Apparently he thought I'd pay HIS guy $25 to pick up this free item that only cost $40 new anyway.
People are just insane 🙄
