hey guys, im an international student starting my bachelors at LCC this fall, i’ve already booked Gardens House as my accommodation (it was the only one available) but since then everyone who i’ve spoken w keeps telling me to stay away from Peckham 😭 (my parents are also lowkey concerned bout the area) and i dont really know much bout London as a city and its areas
is it really as sketchy as they say it is or should i just switch to accommodation closer to LCC? (yourtribe or somewhere else)
would appreciate any insight on this^^

so i’m going into first year for a design degree i have a M1 macbook pro i bought in 2021:
**apple macbook pro m1 (a2338, 2020), 16gb ram, 512gb ssd, 13.3-inch retina display, 8-core cpu and 8-core gpu.**
should i upgrade?? ill be going into like ui ux and also might deal w a lot of 3d work like blender rhino and even deal w premiere pro/davinci resolve for video editing
till now the laptop’s been great at the stuff but i was thinking of upgrading the battery or storage or exchanging it for a m3 or a m4 macbook pro(i wouldn’t prefer this cause its a bit costly for me rn)
what do yall suggest??

had my interview and it lasted for about 20 minutes is that a bad sign??? they asked very little bout my portfolio and more about ui ux which is what i wanna do.. is this a bad sign??

tbh im not sure if it’ll be worth it or not and im lowkey scared that i would not get much of my return on investment in terms of the “uni” experience

yall how are u planning ur travels to go to the campus like its so far away from the city of pune and idk if any cab would even take us there from any hotel inside pune 😭

i got into 2nd round (i honestly do NOT know how) but is anyone’s interview and studio test scheduled on 7th may??
also does ANYONEE know the type of interview questions they may ask??
for studio test i found questions on their website but nothing about interview so 😭
