Hi, as we know some companies generally downgrade phones through updates once their next phones launched. I purchased CE 5 just 4 months ago and updated every version till date. But, after the launch of CE 6 I stopped updating but today the update got downloaded overnight as auto download was enabled. I have not restarted the phone yet. Can you please guide me on how to avoid installing this update. If I even restart the phone accidentally(any time) then will the update get installed?
UPDATE: Finally managed to avoid installing this update.
Hi, I’m very frustrated with IndusInd Bank. I never thought a bank could have such poor service. I have escalated the issue all the way to the Principal Nodal Officer, but everyone is simply copy-pasting responses, confirming the excess balance, and asking for my bank details without actually issuing the refund.
My IndusInd credit card bill of around ₹47,000 was due on April 4th, but I requested to convert this into EMIs on April 2nd. Because the bank took time to process the EMI conversion and my due date was approaching, I decided to pay the full amount to avoid late fees. However, the next day, the ₹47,000 was also converted into EMIs, resulting in a negative (excess) balance of approximately ₹45,000 in my credit card account. I want this excess balance transferred back to my bank account.
I raised a refund request on April 10th. Since then, they have been harassing me; sometimes they claim there is no "access" balance, while most of the time they confirm the ₹45,000 credit and ask for my bank details. Even after I provide everything, they do not send the money.
Could you please guide me on what to do next? RBI guidelines specifically state that excess amounts should be refunded within three days, but the bank does not seem to care.
I plan to escalate this to the RBI Ombudsman, but I have to wait until May 10th to do so. Is my case valid for the RBI? Am I eligible for any compensation? Please guide me. Thank you.
