I know people have probably made things like this before, and I actually came across another Git project recently that was way more advanced than mine. I know mine isn't as cool or as feature-packed as some of the others out there, but I was really proud of what I managed to build and wanted to share it.

I mainly wanted something that was easier on the eyes and gave me a simple way to handle the Git functions I actually use without having to jump between GitHub, folders, and the command line all the time.

I honestly didn't really know what all I should add when I started building it, so I just kept adding things that I thought would be useful.

Some of what Bow Git Vault can currently do:

• Keep local and GitHub repositories together in a repository library
• Add a GitHub repository by URL
• Browse repositories from a GitHub profile
• Clone repositories
• View repository status and changes
• Stage and unstage files
• Create commits
• Pull and push
• Create and switch branches
• View tracked files
• Search through tracked files
• View a repository's README
• Show some GitHub repository and language information
• Check local repositories for remote updates
• Show when a local repository is behind
• Give repositories optional nicknames
• Keep recently opened repositories easily accessible
• Install as a Windows desktop application
• Check for and install Bow Git Vault updates through GitHub Releases

It is still pretty early and I'm continuing to figure out what would actually be useful to add. I'm definitely not trying to replace the more advanced Git clients that already exist. This started because I wanted something simple that worked the way I wanted it to, and I ended up being pretty proud of how far I got with it.

If anyone wants to take a look, I'd genuinely appreciate feedback, feature ideas, or suggestions for things I could improve.
