Thoughts on mega lucario with Dachsbun?

I play mega lucario with the 2-2 Hakiyama line. I also see people using dudunsparce, but today, in a mirror matchup, i saw a version that had neither. Instead he ran dachsbun to heal his mega lucario, which i thought seemed quite smart. I won, but barely. I'm still quite new so this looked unusual to me, i apologize if it's actually common.

I understand wallys serves the same purpose, but it's easier to pull the dachs than the wally.

What do you guys think about running dachs in mega lucario?

What am i not understanding regarding team rockets watchtower?

I just added two watch towers to my lucario deck. The idea being to stop ability spams. Yet my opponent, and myself continues to be able to use abilities like the card isn't there xD

What am i missing?

Hariyama or dudunsparce in mega lucario deck?

Hello

I'm pretty new and trying to get into competitive Pokémon tcg. I'm running mega lucario cause it's easy, fun and a no brainer. I'm doing well, so far, but have questions.

I have mainly found myself playing hakiyamas for kinda extra boss orders so i can target big prize pokemons. I would have two hakiyama and three bosses orders. However, here and there i find it takes me a little too long to come online, due to hakiyamas unevolved form(forgot it's name) occupying the active spot with a 2 energy retreat cost. I tried to remedy this by running 2 switch in the deck. It's not that it happens crazy often, but when it does it's annoying.

Today i swapped haki and it's little bros for dunsparce and dudunsparce. I don't run the third form, at all. I added an extra bosses orders( so it's now 4). Now i won't have the locked active pokemon problem, but i lost some ability to swap opponents pokemon. Duduns are basically just there to function as extra lunar cycles(hence why i don't run the third form).

My question is, which of the two options do you recommend, and why?

As i said, I'm still very new and trying to take all in.

Started ranked today. Currently sitting at 200 Elo(which is obviously nothing, but I'm consistently beating 4-500+ Elo decks. So I'm satisfied so far).

Thanks!

Any advice for a new tcg live player?

Hello

I started playing tcg live today. I haven't played since the late 90s. Did the tutorial fights and thought i would dip my toes in casual games. I'm getting pounded quite hard every game and it's obvious the opponents have decks that differ heavily from my starter stuff.

I feel slightly overwhelmed. How does a new player get out the starting block?

Thank you for your help!

Coming back to poker. Recommend me books and a site to play on

Hello. I hope this is allowed.

I'm coming back to poker after about 15 years. What site would be the preferred to play on now a days? Back then it was PokerStars but i have no idea what that's like these days. I'm based in Denmark and prefer tournaments.

Also. Can you guys recommend me some books to brush up my play.

Thanks!

Do you give out end of the season awards?

So, the end of the season is fast approaching, and i was wondering how many give out awards? I was thinking of doing:

Talent of the season

Development player of the season

Player of the season

We have about 25 players, and it's a mix of u14/u15 girls. When i played, as a kid, there was always these awards at the end, and it was fun. However, i can't figure out if giving three people awards will mean that 22 players will feel overlooked. In my experience, young girls will second guess themselves, and reach misplaced conclusions, a lot more than boys.

Let me know how you guys do it in your clubs.
