Questions before joining as a pet owner
Hi! I’m considering signing up for Trusted Housesitters but have a couple questions.
I have 2 calm indoor cats and live in a beautiful home near the beach in San Diego. It would be a very easy and chill sit.
My main concern is that I’ll be totally unreachable for 7 days. One of my cats is a senior (13) and while in good health (he does take medication for hypothyroidism but it’s under control), I worry that something might happen and the sitter will need to manage that without being able to contact me.
The other thing is that it kind of weirds me out to think of someone in my home that might go through my stuff…. Like normal personal things that I wouldn’t necessarily be able to remove from the house. (ie lingerie drawers, journals, things like that)
I also don’t have any sort of ring cameras and would want to be sure that they don’t bring additional guests or strangers into the house that weren’t previously approved.
