I love the new album Listen Up!, but I got to know A Love Song very well in preparation for the Up Up Down Down tour. It’s now become one of my most favorite tracks on the whole album.

Not only is it generally just immaculate summer vibes, but: “Wish I could find a way to make you feel safe.” What a green flag! This line is so incredibly swoon-worthy. Why don’t we hear this sentiment more often? Every time I hear the song I’m blown away all over again. It seems like Jordan wrote the lyrics, and if so, he and his wife sound like they have a beautiful relationship and I wish them all the best.
