Moved here for uni and I’ve been thinking about how hard it actually is to build a social life in a new city, everyone says “join clubs!” but I’m curious what genuinely worked for people vs what was a waste of time.

If you moved here in the last few years: what actually got you your people? And was there stuff you tried that just didn’t work, apps, events, whatever?

Asking partly out of curiosity, partly because I’m working on a wee project about this. Happy to share what I find if people are interested.
