Buenas! Quería consultar si alguno tiene experiencias con esta distribuidora para contarme, me interesa lanzar mi primer tema acá

I'm an emerging artist trying to figure out the best release strategy for my current situation.

I have 6 songs fully written (though they haven't been produced yet), and one of them is about to be released as a single.

My question is: what strategy do you think makes the most sense today for growing an audience efficiently as a new artist?

Would you:

• Release 3 singles first and then put them together in an EP along with 3 new unreleased songs?

or

• Release all 6 songs as individual singles and focus on promoting them one by one?

There are a few details that make me unsure. For example, one of the songs would have an instrumental intro that I'd probably release as a separate track because including it in the original song makes it feel too long.

Also, all of these songs belong to the same artistic era. They were written during my teenage years and share a very similar sound and aesthetic, mainly built around acoustic guitar, lead vocals, and vocal harmonies.

At the same time, my plan for the future is to move in a different musical direction. After releasing this acoustic material, I'd like to transition into a more modern pop sound inspired by artists like Charlie Puth, Sombr, Nightly, The Strike, and Temper City, incorporating more synths, digital production, and VST instruments.

Because of that, I'm also wondering whether it would make sense to use an EP as a way to close this chapter before moving on to the next one.

What makes the decision harder is that the workload, promotion strategy, and release timeline are very different between a singles-focused approach and an EP release.

If you were starting from scratch as a new artist in this situation, how would you release these songs, and why?

Soy un artista emergente y estoy tratando de definir la mejor estrategia de lanzamiento para mi situación actual.

Tengo 6 canciones completamente compuestas (aunque todavía no están producidas), todas dentro de un estilo pop acústico, y una de ellas está por salir como sencillo.

Mi duda es la siguiente: ¿qué estrategia creen que tiene más sentido hoy para crecer audiencia de manera eficiente siendo un proyecto nuevo?

¿Les parece mejor:

• Lanzar 3 sencillos y luego publicar un EP que incluya esos 3 temas junto con otras 3 canciones inéditas?

o

• Lanzar las 6 canciones como sencillos individuales y enfocarme en promocionar cada tema por separado?

Hay algunos detalles que me hacen dudar. Por ejemplo, una de las canciones tendría una introducción instrumental que probablemente publicaría como un track separado, ya que dentro de la canción original hace que quede demasiado larga.

Además, todas las canciones forman parte de una misma etapa artística. Son composiciones que escribí durante mi adolescencia y comparten una estética muy similar, basada principalmente en guitarra acústica, voz principal y coros, por lo que en cierto modo funcionan como un conjunto conceptual.

Por otro lado, mi idea a futuro es cambiar de dirección musical. Después de este material acústico quiero pasar a un sonido más cercano al pop moderno de artistas como Charlie Puth, Sombr, Nightly, The Strike o Temper City, incorporando más sintetizadores, producción digital y VSTs.

Por eso también me interesa saber si tendría sentido utilizar un EP como forma de cerrar esta etapa artística antes de dar ese salto hacia una nueva identidad sonora.

Lo que más me genera dudas es que el trabajo, la promoción y los tiempos de lanzamiento son muy distintos entre una estrategia basada en sencillos y una basada en un EP.

Si estuvieran arrancando hoy con un proyecto nuevo y este contexto, ¿cómo lanzarían estas canciones y por qué?

Estoy por lanzar mi primer sencillo y ando investigando distribuidoras, pero cuanto más leo más dudas me generan algunas cosas, así que quería conocer experiencias reales, sobre todo de músicos de Argentina.

Las opciones que más estuve viendo son estas:

• Landr: Me llamó la atención porque, según entendí, si por algún motivo dejo de pagar la suscripción anual, mi música sigue en las plataformas y no me bajan el catálogo. Además, incluye canal oficial de YouTube y Content ID, que me parecen cosas importantes.
• Symphonic: Veo que tiene muy buenas recomendaciones y hablan muy bien del soporte en español. El problema es que tengo entendido que el pago es anual y, si no renovás, te revocan el catálogo. Eso me genera bastante inseguridad.
• RouteNote: Me gusta la idea del plan gratuito al principio, pero el plan pago no me termina de convencer porque, si querés quedarte con el 100% de las regalías, son 10 dólares por sencillo al año, y a largo plazo no sé si me conviene.

Mi situación es la siguiente:

• Soy artista solista emergente.
• Este año quiero lanzar 3 canciones.
• Por ahora solo pienso sacar sencillos.
• El presupuesto no es un gran problema: podría pagar unos 10-12 dólares por sencillo si es un pago único, o una suscripción anual de alrededor de 30 dólares.
• Lo que más me molesta es depender de una renovación y que, si por algún motivo no puedo pagar, me tiren abajo todo el catálogo.

Por eso quería preguntarles:

¿Qué distribuidora usan ustedes y cuál creen que sería la mejor opción para alguien en mi situación?

Si son músicos de Argentina y pueden contar su experiencia, se los agradecería muchísimo.

I've been researching a few options, but each one has pros and cons that make the decision difficult.

• LANDR: I like the fact that, from what I've read, if I stop paying the annual subscription for some reason, my music stays on streaming platforms and my catalog isn't removed. It also includes an Official YouTube Artist Channel and Content ID, which are important features for me.
• Symphonic: I've seen a lot of positive reviews, especially regarding their support team. However, I've also read that if you stop paying the annual fee, your catalog can be taken down, and that worries me.
• RouteNote: The free plan looks attractive at first, but their paid option doesn't convince me much. If I want to keep 100% of the royalties, I'd have to pay around $10 per single every year, and I'm not sure if that's the best long-term option.

My situation:

• Emerging solo artist.
• Planning to release 3 singles this year.
• Only singles for now, no albums.
• Budget isn't a huge issue. I can afford around $10-12 per single as a one-time payment, or an annual subscription around $30.
• My biggest concern is losing my catalog if I can't renew a subscription for whatever reason.

So I'd love to hear from people with real experience:

Which distributor do you use, and which one would you recommend for someone in my situation?

I'm especially interested in long-term reliability, ease of use, support quality, and whether my music stays online if I stop paying.

Estuve investigando varias opciones, pero cada una tiene ventajas y desventajas que me hacen dudar.

• LANDR: Me gusta porque, según tengo entendido, si por algún motivo dejo de pagar la suscripción anual, mi música sigue en las plataformas y no me eliminan el catálogo. Además, incluye canal oficial de YouTube y Content ID, que son características importantes para mí.
• Symphonic: He visto muy buenas opiniones, especialmente sobre su soporte. Sin embargo, también leí que si dejás de pagar la anualidad pueden dar de baja tu catálogo, y eso me preocupa bastante.
• RouteNote: El plan gratuito me parece interesante para empezar, pero su plan pago no me convence demasiado. Si quiero conservar el 100% de las regalías, tendría que pagar alrededor de 10 dólares por sencillo cada año, y no sé si es la mejor opción a largo plazo.
