





Hi, my father passed away last year and I'm sorting the paperwork for my Mum and we're almost at the end and are looking to post the AP1 & TR1 forms to HM Land Registry.
I'm having trouble wrapping my head around the Scale 2 fees for postal submission.
My parent's property was changed recently to have them both tenants-in-common and they each owned a 50% share.
Upon either death their half would be put into a trust that includes the other plus myself and my sister, the other also having a life interest.
As we are only transferring my father's half I'm assuming that the value for Scale 2 fees is half of the value of the property NOT the value of the whole house?
