How does Jeskai Ephemerate handle graveyard hate?

The whole point of Jeskai Ephemerate is to use [[Archaeomancer]] to loop [[Ephemerate]], which them lets you loop all your other spells.

I'm a newbie to the deck - how does it survive against graveyard hate?

I can imagine lots of [[Counterspell]] and [[Annul]] to prevent your opponent from sticking a [[Nihil Spellbomb]]/[[Relic of Progenitus]]/[[Soul-Guide Lantern]], or from resolving a [[Heritage Reclamation]]/[[Thraben Charm]].

But against a [[Faerie Macabre]] or a [[Bojuka Bog]], do you just take it on the chin and resolve to commit less cards to the graveyard in games 2 and 3?

How many lands should a desert cube run?

This is a follow up to the existing thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/mtgcube/comments/1vn45kw/how_many_lands_do_you_run_and_why/) but all the replies in that thread are about regular cubes! I'd like to discuss desert cubes.

For those that don't know, a desert cube is a cube where you draft all your lands, and you don't get basics provided after the draft. Accordingly, players will draft significantly more lands than normal, and the cube must have significantly more lands than normal.

I'd really love to see what people are doing for their desert cubes! What ratios are we working with?

Themes when planning a microcube?

Hey all! I'm challenging myself with a 200 card desert cube - meaning there's 80 lands to be drafted, and only 120 non-lands. That's microscopic compared to most cubes, so I wanted to poke y'alls brains for how to plan out themes.

As with any cube, I want enough of a theme that players can feel rewarded for smart drafting, but also not feel that they should simply grab every red card they see, or draft 5-color-goodstuff.

I know most cubes will line up one theme per guild, but with only ~20 cards per color, is that the right call?

I've also seem some cube designs instead look to seed various buildaround cards - for example, putting in a [[Sneak Attack]] or a [[Reanimate]] and simply leaving that as a puzzle for the drafter to solve.

I'd love to hear any advice or lessons y'all have picked up along the way!
