So they buff poke, while giving nothing to hero and monster hulk? Funny.

So they buff poke, while giving nothing to hero and monster hulk? Funny.

This is exactly what I wanted. Get back into hulk faster so I can get bullied even more.

Please let there be shadow buffs I can't do this anymore man

I'm jealous

I'm seeing all the iron fist players and Wanda players enjoy their buffs and I'm jealous.

I play fist but like I love hulk. I don't even want to do my placements in gm rn, I'm learning cap instead atm.

Isn't really that big of a post I just feel left out

I need a backup

So I'm kinda suffering from success here.

I'm not exactly a one trick, but my hulk is so much better than everything else I play I'm having issues.

I'm getting target banned a lot (even in gm1 which is surprising).

And I'm being counterswapped hard every game.

My hulk is a consistent 65% wr but my other tanks (excluding venom) are all negative.

My main tanks that I'm comfortable on are hulk, strange, mag, venom.

Problem is that mag is usually occupied by my co tank or is banned.

And my other tanks get fried by the same people who counter hulk, (strange gets a little leeway but he still gets touched by wolv and stuff)

I just need a fallback tank that covers hulks weaknesses that isn't magneto (for aforementioned reasons)

I tried Emma but I feel like I just suck at her or she isn't very good? (maybe a playtime diff since I think I only have like 12 on her)

I just feel sorta handless off hulk and if I can't play strange (due to like wolv n stuff) or mag I just lose.

Now I'm aware I can play against counters on hulk, like wolv isn't even a huge issue to me, but when there's like 3 counters on their team, the game becomes really hard. (Do I force hulk into them to adapt or)

Not a punisher main but I have a question.

How is shotgun punisher even viable in high elo? I don't play a lot of ranked but I'm gm1 rn gonna hit cel soon probably but I've faced a few shotgun punishers where I just can't see how he gets value.

I play hulk so maybe that has something to do with it but shotgun puni to me feels like a worse panther?

Your ziplines telegraph your engage paths so it makes predicting and marking you extremely easy. If I know you're diving I'll either mark you or keep you in mind and just bubble my supports.

Are the shotgun punis that I face just bad or is hulk like one of those characters that shuts the playstyle down?

Or is there a magic trick to making him work?

My first champion. Who next?

I love playing hulk, tho I'll admit I'm a qp warrior and only sometimes play ranked after I got to gm. Some day I'll start playing ranked again and take big guy to celestial.

The real thing that's killing the community.

I'll preface this by saying that despite its flaws I love this game, I play it often and I have my fun, but everytime I come onto this subreddit there's one consistent thing that ticks me off.

Role tribalism.

Whenever I see a comment like, "support mains are stupid", or "dps mains eat crayons" I genuinely get annoyed, and before this post is hit with, "this is how it has always been get used to it", just because something has always been a certain way doesn't mean its ok, or right.

EVERY and I mean EVERY single role has their good, and their bad players.

Dps mains, can you realise that sometimes you are actually out of sight of your healers and you should go to a health pack instead, or you're not using cover and taking a billion damage to the face that your supports can't outheal? Also help your healers, while I know at high levels trading backlines is the meta, most of you aren't (including myself) are not at that level.
Dive mains, please watch snipehardts series on diveology if you genuinely want to get better at dive and he solves the common issues many dive players have.

Support mains, can you all stop going into every game already assuming you have garbage dps? The amount of posts I see or comments in this community about "yeah I have no faith in my dps" or wtv, is surprising. Going in with a I'm going to lose mindset is going to be the reason you lose games. Yes, sometimes you get garbage dps, it happens.

Tank mains, (this is what I am), can we actually stop with the victim complex. Yes, the role has its cons and can be torture at times, and we do have the right to complain, but the amount you guys do it just comes of as whiny.

There is so much agenda in this community that everyone tries to push, eg "supports are boosted", "dive mains are delusional" that a lot of games turn into who can I blame rather than how could I have played that better.

And while you're here, I want to add one little thing, a lot of us (including myself) love to blame matchmaking for the reason we're stuck in our elo, be it GM or be it gold. The truth is, if you focus on your OWN gameplay and stop playing the game to point fingers, you will climb. The only constant in your game is yourself.

Tldr: Just stop with the hate that you have for each role, focus on your own gameplay and climb. Let dive mains play dive, let support players play their supports etc.

I have no idea anymore.

I just hit level 38 hulk and I took a break this season and I'm in diamond rn and finally decided to start pushing before season ends (I was gm last season) and

I just can't anymore. I'm struggling so hard with not exploding, thats my genuine issue, I explode a lot.

Now I'll be honest I get some good deathless or low death games on hulk or mvp games but I'm not consistent at all.

I get so much more value on venom than hulk rn.

Now I all I'm asking is for some tips, because ik that despite hulk not being the most amazing tank, my issues that I'm facing are purely skill issue.

Please help me out.

For now, I'm playing a bunch of venom and climbing easily with him but I love hulk and would love to iron out the issues I have with him before I get champion which is one of my goals rn
