I am recently unemployed and starting to apply for jobs.

I sometimes get spam calls, so I like using the Call Assist by Google to see who's calling before I pick up.

Will recruiters say why they are calling when they hear this or are they just going to hang up? Should I just answer every phone call and hope it's not a scammer?

What has been your experience on avoiding the scammers while still getting calls from job applications?
