Sorry, i don't have much details but i can swear i read this book in the past couple of years.

I think it was a small town romance book, the only scene i remember is that they're at a car accident scene by a bridge, the mmc who's a firefighter tells the guy who turns out to be the villain to stabilize the car while the fmc is helping the driver, then a dog runs to the car and she ends up falling in the lake so he jumps after her.
