Pacing went from 100% to 2%

I’ve had my pacemaker for over a year and up until recently I was 100% paced on my upper chamber. Percentage pacing has dropped dramatically in last 3 months. To 2% paced! My other chamber always stayed steady at less then 1% paced. What is going on do y’all think? Electrophysiologist not worried.

Travel experiences to share

Just got home from a trip to France. Was visiting the Arc de Triumph to climb to the top and there was a security check with a metal detector at the entrance. Big sign expressed No Pacemakers (picture above). So I signaled to the attendant and he pulled me aside. Asked me if I needed the lift to the top! Even though I could have made it, it was hot as heck so I accepted the offer.

Coming back through Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris, they had the older machines at security so I indicated I had a pacemaker and they pulled me out of line and sent me through. They had a machine that looked like a walker and you sort of held the handles, leaned over, and then placed one foot after another in the center. Then I had a full body pat down right then and there.

Coming out of the US airport, they had the big machine you step inside and raise your arms over your head while it does a scan. For that, they said a pacemaker is no problem.

Anyone have travel experiences or insights with pacemaker?

Pacing Percentage Dropped in Half!

My quarterly transmission went up to my clinic and I just got my results back. Lots of technical info but one of the things I track is the percentage of time I am paced. I’ve had the pacemaker for just over a year (64F) and my RA pacing has always been low (.1%). My RV pacing has always been at like 99%. It dropped to 46%!

Anyone have any thoughts on this!? Thanks in advance!
