I’m a NEET aspirant, and with Re-NEET just a few days away, my anxiety was through the roof. Today, I was just sitting and talking with my parents, and out of nowhere, this heavy realization hit me… they honestly deserved a much better child than me.
I’m a 3rd-time dropper. This is my absolute last attempt. After boards, I even did English Honors for two years, but then I dropped out to pursue NEET. It was a huge, messy decision. But my parents? They stood by me then, and they are standing by me now.
In these last 4 years of constant struggle, they haven't said a single harsh word to me. Not even once. When everyone else was judging me or asking about my future, they only gave me courage.
My mom always says, "তোর ভালোটাই আমাদের কাছে ভালো " (Your happiness is all that matters to us).
I don't know what I did to deserve them, but I am the luckiest person alive to have parents like this. No matter what happens in the exam, I’ve already won in life because of them.
