3 weeks before the wedding, Italian make-up artist will only do 1/2 a face for trial??

Has anyone heard of this before?? My daughter finally connected with her make-up artist, who has been difficult to get a hold of. Since it is a destination wedding, she has the trial scheduled for her rehearsal dinner day. The make-up artist just informed her that she will only do 1/2 of her face for the trial!? Is this actually a thing? It was not in the contract anywhere that she would be doing this, and she has already paid for a deposit. We have been to a couple of weddings in this region (Puglia), and no one has ever had a 1/2 face trial before. What in the world?? Is any make-up artist available at the last minute for the 12th and 13th of June in the Lecce, Italy area by chance? Sheesh https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTBRMFmNa/

Help? Huge gown and need a huge garment bag recommendation.

My daughter is traveling with her gown from the states to Italy and has been told that it is now hard to bring your dress on as a carry-on in a garment bag when flying. She was told by the dress store to roll it up and put it in her carry-on. The problem? Her dress is ginormous, has boning, long train etc... Has anybody traveled with a really large and I mean large wedding dress from the states to Italy before and what did you use for carry-on or garment bag? Leaving in June so any help would be appreciated, thank you!
