2 year PCH vs 4 year PCP but hand back after 2 years

Hiya,

Just wondering if my maths is correct.

I can get a new Renault 5 EV on a 4 year PCP with £1500 deposit for £355.

A 2 year lease will cost more per month and I can simply hand the PCP car back once I’ve paid 50% which should be 2 years?

Obviously I would need to pay for VED but the figures for the best lease deals were still more when factoring this in.

Am I missing something really obvious?

Calculating realistic kVA for our property

Hi folks

We live in a flat and want to get an idea of what our kVA is as we want to get a 7kW charger for our EV.

The flat uses 3 modern HHR storage heaters for the purpose of heating.

They are 2 x 1560W units and single 2220W unit.

We will also be getting an instantaneous water heater installed that is rated at 12kW and will replace the old electric shower and also supply hot water to two sinks.

The tariff we’re on has a 7 hour off peak period from 11:00pm to 6:00am. This will be when the storage heaters will be drawing a current and also when the bulk of the EV charging will happen.

We don’t take showers within the off peak window so there wouldn’t be an overlap with that.

The only other items that would run overnight and use a significant amount of energy would be a dehumidifier that is rated at 216Whand a dishwasher that uses 0.755kWh on the eco mode.

What would you suggest the realistic kVA for this property would be with the addition of the 7kW EV charger based on the above info please?
