On-post housing experience
Single 2LT here, I'm considering moving on post (Allen Heights presumably) and I want to get an idea of your experience with your neighbors, housing quality, Corvias, etc. so I know what to expect.
Currently live in an apartment in Daleville. It's a good place with a really close commute, and the 600 ft2 is more than enough space for me (don't own much stuff/furniture). I also save a lot in rent. I just don't like the surrounding area and want to be somewhere with a better sense of community/safety. It'd also be nice to not have to worry about min-maxing my utility expenses.
Especially for those living without roommates, do you think it's worth the BAH? Was there anything you were surprised by, or anything you found out only after moving in?
