Going with Family for Daughters Graduation

Hello All,

This subreddit has been a lifesaver from a stress standpoint. I am Dad and we are taking my 18 yo daughter and BF and 21 YO son and his GF. We decided not to do all inclusive and are staying at the Grand Luxxe Rivera Maya. We have been on the West Coast of Mexico exclusively so this will be first to Cancun. We are explorers as. I don’t like the sit around all day by the pool or beach stuff. I have a rental through Alamo. I am worried about renting and getting stopped. Also, because we like to explore I need the freedom of our rental.

My questions are:

  1. Should I be worried considering the size of our group and the rental? We don’t get into shenanigans but I want my daughter to have the best senior trip she could possibly have.

  2. What things should we do? We are going to Tulum and Chichen Itza. My daughter really wants to see some cenotes.

  3. Is there a place to shop for groceries and also what are great must stop at restaurants. We don’t need the Senior Frogs experience…

Thanks in advance for any insight!
