Some of the worlds look really underwhelming now under the shadows of the great grand papa Smurf and the Demon Lords, but I think some of them may hold much greater power than what it seems, and it can be rather reasonably inferred.

1. Madalans

Madalans have lost quite some aura since their debut: they lost the ship to Daikokuzan; Uki got wrecked by Jachi and Ginbak; they caught a demon lord to their Mothership but apparently can't contain them; etc etc. On top of that, as Bawan stated, there doesn't seem to be a difference in ranks for Madalans. So this implies that they may not have an overwhelmingly more powerful, Ginbak type of character in their team.

But they have other powerful things.

As I have pointed out in another post, Celestia humans noted that Madalans occupied every bit of space outside the Earth. No matter where they went, Madalans were there. This implies that Madalans are actually great in numbers, and unlike most of the other NEs that are bound to Earth, they have occupied space. We don't know if the Madalans who were not near Earth at the point of world-merging still got brought over, but judging by the size of their Mothership, even if those Madalans didn't make it, they could still be quite numerous.

In addition to numbers, they are also the most technologically advanced faction at this point. They were the only NE who could tell the mechanism behind the Soul Container and the only NE that had demonstrated having the ability to cause mass extermination using technology (their Ship before it was destroyed by Daikokuzan). If they are going to investigate more into Curse Techs like Nyudo is doing, the result could be catastrophic.

So, overall, the loss Madalans have suffered seem more like the result of them underestimating everything else. Soon as they realize that all other NEs are just as powerful, I think they are gonna be much more formidable.

2. Neos

Neos have also been quite a let down in terms of individual powers. Much stronger than normal humans yes, but are the bottom tier comparing to other NE units: It took dozens of them to take down a singular average giant; Heidi got a mere estimated threat level of 3 from an average robot unit, and it took Heidi almost her life to take the latter out, while her kins stood no chance at all; they are susceptible to Parasites.

However, the thing with Neos is that they can do whatever humans can do, and do it better.

They have the combined qualities of both Robots and humans: they can act highly coordinated, efficient and apathetic just like robots, but they still have the characteristics and the spontaneity of humans. Heidi could have taken out the whole human group, or at least run away, but she decided to stay and infiltrate. So they are not cocky like Madalans and they do not follow a single objective like Robots, instead they analyze the situation and try to find the optimal approach. So, whatever that the humans are trying to do, like instigating the NEs or combining the technologies from different worlds, Neos can also do it, and in a much more efficient manner.

Also, we have already seen that Neos still follow the human social structure for most parts. They have individuals specialized in jobs (the nurses and researchers around Ario) and higher ups (Heidi's brother). So, it's plausible that they may have individuals specialized in combat as well. We just didn't get to see them cuz their civilians were enough to contain the damage.

And, much like Madalans, Neos also have a technological advantage. Yet, so far the only weaponry we have seen them use were their tiny little blades. They were able to recognize robots as automated machinery of unknown design, which means they have already developed such concept and tech, they just didn't deploy it.

It's also likely that Neos have been using biological / genetic techs to "perfect" themselves and maintain their population, since the loss of lives during their clash w/ Giants and Parasites didn't faze them at all.

What do you guys think?
