for the past two weeks, been working level 1 assets and just figuring out how I will manage the level engine based on what my buddy provided me in unity, keeping honest to the first visual studies I did earlier to avoid the chaotic loop of " what do I need to do? " over and over, it seems it worked, I know the process might have taken 1 week to make the level but juggling Family, Day job and doing things after hours without burning my self out * which I did lol! * I manage to get the level to an area where I am like " hah! this looks cool! "when it comes to the visuals.

excited to show you guys later, oh yeah and we got accepted for PGDX! so now our collective are showcasing Multiple games.

we will be showcasing GoodKnight Bullet Hell *old game*, Barista Boy, PP invasion, Keyboard Warrior Stickman, Sepak U *Sports fighting game*, Carnage Mansion!, and even helping to man my friend's both who he can not attend the event due to lack of funds for travel the game is called The Void, which I also helped testing a lot for him, VERY interesting game which I kinda get back to play when I feel I need a break from things.

oh and Sepak U recent trailer on Game Trailers Hit the 200K views was such an overwhelming experience so we are kinda rolling in a good direction, wish us luck!, really looking forward to show you guys what is happening in Carnage Mansion and I do want to regular uploads but a lot is happening and I am barely keeping up!

Question! : do you guys want me to show you more close up screenshots of the level? or you do not want me to spoil you?, I would like to know, I am not showing substantial proof that I am actually working since I really do not want to spoil things for you, so what do you think!?

Carnage Mansion new Logo designed for the upcoming PGDX 2026

PGDX is a Philippines Game Development Expo, amazing event that is started and organized by the best in the biz here in the Philippines.

They give free booths to Indie developers to support the local dev help them showcase their games and push the community forward!

Forest Level Look imported to Unity

I will post here directly, after 2 days of after hours,

creating a new shader for the Vortex
added displacement for the trees
fixing the HLSL of Kyle's Shader

Got the look down for this level! now to the next one! after taking the rest of the night as a break!

PGDX Carnage Mansion

been a Month since I touched Carnage Mansion cause real life is Carnage Mansion too, summer holiday was a bit brutal on my side but it was productive.

now PGDX is around the corner and I have a duty towards the people who are supporting us so the gears are back on started last weekend

I finished transferring the sewer level from my tooling project to the actual project and making the assets Modular for level editing, breaking it down to that was the challenge but once that challenge was done, things were smooth sail on import and building the basic look again

back in March was figuring out the environment shader which you see above came to fruition.

and also creating a workflow going from level thumbnail, concept sketch, to a proper concept , assets and then in engine, a workflow the helped me understand how I will approach levels and it seems so far to work.

but then things started coming in, helped working on a new Level for one of our other projects and assets for Keyboard Warrior Stick man while working on something with the kids to help us bond a bit more during summer break even when they are far away and also a horror project that just happen to be on a caffeine induced morning walk that I had to get the visuals out of my head.

I have attached some images for the various stuff along with Carnage Mansion I hope you guys don't mind.

this quarter is busy busy busy!
