so Storm Arena Chun Li has been a topic of debate after the latest booth images. I wanted to address the issues about the most recent prototype of the figure with my edit. Let me know your thoughts about how it can be improved further.
Hey everyone, I made an edit for the recent Iceman because I wanted to see how it would look with a painted body.
First of all, I like many things about this figure. The sculpt, accessories, articulation, even the size which I was afraid of the possibility that it might be the same size as Daredevil and thankfully I was wrong I think he scales up really nicely. Everything I mentioned is great as it is, except the lack paint on the body. The fact that the joints having different coloring and being visible everywhere is a huge problem for me. They dropped the ball by not painting the figure itself, he looks like a holographic robot instead of a genetically mutated super human with an ice form. You're not Hasbro Medicom, get yourself together.
Anyway, I just painted the body with the highlight colors of the accessories in order to match them with the body and make the figure itself stand out more while covering the visible joints simultaneously. I wish it came out like this. They could make the figure look more premium but it just looks like a Marvel Legends paintwise. How is that justifiable?
Let me know if any of you purchase this figure and willing to paint it like this.

I made some edits for Mess Toys Invincible and Omni Man. I really like them overall, especially Invincible, but I think that they need some adjustments for the headsculpts.
First off, I changed some of the facial and body proportions of Omni Man. Then I removed the neck piece so that it wouldn't break the silhouette and allow the cape to flow better. After that, I added extra hair strands. Lastly, I adjusted the cut on the butterfly joints so that it blends in with the logo better when the figure is posed.
For Invincible, I just changed the hairs and the faces.
That's all. I hope to see them improving these prototypes taking notice of my edits. I'm alright with them taking their time.
