hi everybody- random question but do the washing machines take quarters or do you pay through an app or something? just wondering if i need to bring quarters

i’m an incoming freshman and just a little confused i know it says to get in line first thing when you get there to check in- i’m wondering if this is a line of cars or a line i have to get out of the car to be in.
also are there stations we are gonna have to compete?

hello everybody!
i’m an incoming student and just overall confused with this time selection process. it gave me the slot 6/17 at 12:40, so am i supposed to go into the housing portal then or wait until 3:30, because i don’t have a roommate i am getting a random one. i would assume im supposed to go in during my time slot but the email says differently.
also is this something i should be trying to do very quickly in my time slot like is it a first come first serve?
also any recommendations or just dorms that i should avoid would be helpful. i have a list of my order i want if anyone has input
