how do you actually keep yourself motivated when the results slow down

the first couple of months were easy because the scale was moving fast and that was enough. now I'm in month four, results are still happening but slower, and I'm finding it harder to stay locked in mentally. not giving up just genuinely curious how people sustain the motivation over a longer period when the dopamine hits from fast progress aren't there anymore

I just cost a bariatric surgeon $25k by choosing a GLP-1 and his staff is absolutely livid about it

I was all set for a gastric bypass next month until Tirzepatide changed everything. I’ve already lost 60 pounds and my BMI dropped so much that my primary doctor told me surgery was a bad idea now. When I called the bariatric center to cancel, the coordinator was a total nightmare.

She told me I was just "kicking the can down the road" and that I would definitely be back after I fail. It is pretty obvious they are just mad about losing the paycheck. Has anyone else dealt with this kind of weird aggression from surgeons? It feels like they would rather see me get my stomach cut open than see me succeed with a weekly shot.

How much are you guys spending on Reta from the start all the way to maintenance?

I am curious how much you guys are actually spending on your Reta journey in total. Specifically, I want to know the cost from your very first dose until you finally reach your maintenance level. How much are you paying for a 10mg vial, and does it end up being way cheaper to buy in bulk or do you just get them one by one? For those of you who have been doing this for a while, how much did the whole process cost you before you finally leveled off on a maintenance dose?

I am curious about the best and worst prices you guys have seen for GLP-1s in general. What is the biggest price difference you have come across?

I am asking because I really want to know the gap between the completely overpriced places and the actual good ones. I am not looking for any sources, I just want to compare the milligram, the price it was sold for, and whether it was reconstituted or un-reconstituted.

Please stop DMing asking for sources. and nobody else with a private connection is going to hand it out to strangers either.

Just have the decency to do a little bit of your own research or at least put some effort into asking in the group. There is literally a sources channel in the discord. Go to the group and ask. We all have access to the exact same vendors.

Pretty much every reliable domestic supplier charges around the exact same price anyway. Stop driving yourselves crazy and bothering people in DMs just to save a couple dollars on a vial. Find a place that posts their testing results and go with them, but please stop trying so hard to get scammed.

i’ve been going down a rabbit hole the past few months looking into double eyelid surgery in korea and i feel like i’m starting to notice something but not sure if i’m just overanalyzing

a lot of results look “good” individually, like clean lines, even creases, no obvious issues. but at the same time some of them feel… off? like technically fine but it doesn’t match the person’s face if that makes sense

i’ve been trying to figure out what separates a result that looks natural vs one that just looks like “you got your eyes done”

i had a consultation recently (online) and the doctor was explaining crease height, thickness, and how my brow bone and existing fold would affect the outcome. it was the first time it actually felt personalized instead of just showing me random before/afters

but now i’m overthinking again because how do you even judge this properly before committing? especially as someone who isn’t asian, i feel like the margin for error is even smaller

like what are you guys actually looking for during consultations?

is it more about the surgeon’s explanation? their past results? the vibe you get?

also how important is it to look at long term results vs just immediate ones?

i feel like i’m close to deciding but also more confused than when i started lol
