Thoughts on my Mega Lucario ex/Hariyama deck?

Hey everyone! I’m fairly new to playing Pokémon TCG and have been practicing this Mega Lucario ex/Hariyama deck on TCG Live. I’m planning to build it physically for locals and wanted some feedback before buying everything.
Pokémon – 16
3x Mega Lucario ex
3x Riolu
3x Solrock
2x Lunatone
2x Makuhita
2x Hariyama
1x Meowth ex
Trainers – 33
4x Fighting Gong
4x Premium Power Pro
4x Lillie’s Determination
3x Ultra Ball
3x Poké Pad
2x Judge
2x Boss’s Orders
2x Switch
2x Gravity Mountain
1x Mega Signal
1x Night Stretcher
1x Air Balloon
1x Secret Box (ACE SPEC)
1x Black Belt’s Training
1x Wally’s Compassion
1x Team Rocket’s Petrel
Energy – 11
9x Basic Fighting Energy
2x Rocky Fighting Energy
60 cards total.
What do you guys think? Anything you would add, remove, or change the counts on? I’m especially interested in making it as competitive and consistent as possible. Thanks!

Thoughts on my Mega Lucario ex/Hariyama deck? What would you change?

Hey everyone! I’m pretty new to actually playing the Pokémon TCG and I’ve been working on this Mega Lucario ex/Hariyama deck.
This is the current 60-card build I’ve been practicing with on TCG Live. I put it together after looking at several competitive Mega Lucario lists and taking pieces I liked from each.
The deck is currently:
16 Pokémon / 33 Trainers / 11 Energy
The main idea is obviously Mega Lucario ex as my primary attacker, with Hariyama as a secondary attacker/support and the Solrock/Lunatone engine.
I’m not necessarily looking to completely rebuild the deck, but I’d really like some feedback from more experienced players:
Is there anything you would add/remove or change the counts on?
Are there any cards here that look unnecessary or anything important that I’m missing?
Would you keep Secret Box as the ACE SPEC, or run something else?
I eventually want to build this exact deck physically and take it to locals, so I’d like to get the list dialed in before I start buying/upgrading all the cards.
Appreciate any advice!

Getting Back Into Pokémon Cards – What Set Should I Start Collecting (Besides SV:151)?

Hey everyone!

I’m looking to get back into collecting Pokémon cards after being away from the hobby for a long time.

My first choice was Scarlet & Violet 151 because I grew up with the original 151 Pokémon, but after looking at prices, booster packs and products are way more expensive than I’d like to spend.

I’m not really trying to chase expensive cards or make money. My goal is to have fun opening packs and eventually complete an entire set.

I noticed one of the newer sets this year is Mega Evolution: Pitch Black, and I was wondering if that’s a good place to start. Or is there another Pokémon set that you’d recommend for someone getting back into the hobby?

A few things I’m looking for:
A set that’s still reasonably priced.
Fun to open.
Not impossible to complete.
Good artwork and a nice variety of Pokémon.

I’d love to hear what set you think offers the best experience for someone starting over. Thanks in advance!
