Does Ado official shop ever restock?

I DESPERATELY want the small Ado keychain plush but it’s sold out. I’ve been looking for it second-hand on Vinted and EBay but they sell for ridiculously high prices. Does anyone know if the Ado shop restocks? Or if there’s any other way to buy one?

Some questions for year 11

I’m in Year 10, moving on to Year 11 soon and I really want to get the best possible outcome from my GCSEs. So I have a couple of questions that I think could help optimise my experience. Please could you take some time to answer them?

What are the intervals for spaced repetition? I know Anki has it integrated, but I also want to know how it works so I can use it when revising without flashcards. For instance, I might need it when choosing what topics to do when blurting. I asked this in a previous post, but is there any other way to track it?

Does blurting work for sciences and history (AQA), and how do you memorise dates?

I have a bad French teacher next year so want to bring something to French so I can still do it while she’s needlessly talking. I was thinking of bringing a list of vocab, but I feel like that’s not the most proficient use of my time. What else could I bring? And how do you learn and remember grammar?

The only way I can contact my best friend is online because she lives abroad. We both decided that we want to call and study together. Are there any ways to optimise this and stop us from getting distracted?

I know past papers is probably the best way to revise. But if I start now would that mean I’ll run out? Should I just save them until the end of the year?

Also, it’s the summer break right now… Since I want all 9s, should I be revising or should I wait until school starts?

Edit: I forgot to ask… Is it better to revise based on ur timetable on school or create your own?

Especially because I got really average mock scores so I’m scared I can’t improve in time

I always go back to this sub and ask for all sorts of advice and suggestions for Year 11. Although everyone’s always super nice and gives me advice, I never feel like it’s what I’m looking for. Maybe I’m looking at it too cynically but I feel like I need someone to tell me exactly what to do: to plan all my revision timetables and give me links to worksheets for each subject. But I know that’s the kind of thing I have to find out myself.

I’ve always been “naturally smart”. I’ve never studied for anything before. But in my mocks, I passed everything easily but didn’t get actual satisfactory grades. So for once I have to rely on my disciple, and that scares me. I’m scared that I’ll do it wrong, or will waste my time.

Plus, I haven’t been paying attention to any of the sciences because I got put in set 2 at first, and I’ve never not been in set 1 so I got put off science for so long. I don’t know how I can relearn all the sciences. People say active recall is the key - but what is there to recall if I’ve learnt nothing? Am I supposed to watch a video or something and then answer questions? Because I feel like that defeats the whole purpose.

I hardly pay attention in history either. I got a 6 for pure exam technique, but I don’t remember a thing.

It feels impossible to revise for maths, french and English.

I’m genuinely so scared.

Questions about spaced repetition

Hello! I’m currently in Year 10, and Year 11 is just around the corner. I’m on holiday abroad throughout all of summer, so I won’t be able to revise at all. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

I’m also planning to start revising every day in Year 11, and want to devise a revision plan. I’ve heard of spaced repetition, but it seems confusing.

Is there any app I can use to track spaced repetition? Because it seems a bit hard to keep track of when to revise each subject.

Should I just do active recall and answer some questions? I like the idea of active recall, but it seems a bit pointless if I’m trying to do questions on something I know nothing about. But if I search up the topic and then do active recall, I think that’s a bit pointless.

Thank you!

How do I get the biggest academic comeback in time for GCSEs?

Here are my mock grades for Year 10:

Business (Edexcel): 6
English language (Edexcel): 6
English literature (Edexcel): 7
French (AQA) (H): 7
History (AQA): 6
Maths (Edexcel) (H): 6
Biology (AQA) (H): 6
Chemistry (AQA) (H): 6
Physics (AQA) (H): 5

Obviously nothing special, but I want to be able to get all 8/9s by the time I’ve reached my GCSEs. Please let me know any subject-specific advice and revision methods, and also general revision tips such as how long/ how many subjects I should revise per day.

Also, every week at tutor time, we’re given some time to revise. I used to print some maths questions, but my printer ran out of ink and my parents won’t buy more. What else could I do? I was thinking maybe blurting history, but I’m not sure.

I also take the bus most days, so is it worth doing flashcards while waiting? And listening to podcasts when walking!

It’s also summer holidays soon, and I’m going on holiday. Of course, I have Year 11 mocks when I’m back so do you think I should bring revision materials to the Philippines? I’ll be there during the whole term. If so, what should I bring?

Thank you

Gifts for my Year 11 sister?

Hello! My older sister recently finished her GCSEs today and I saw a post where someone’s parents gave them gifts, so I was inspired to do the same. What things can I get/ make for my sister that I can make really quickly? Thank you!
