Student registration for SSSC, previously fired for gross misconduct
Hi, I'm just looking for some advice. I've just been accepted to uni to study social work, and as part of that I need to register with the SSSC.
As part of that I have to disclosure if I have been fired for gross misconduct and I have been fired for gross misconduct a few months ago.
I was fired for:
Theft, or unauthorised removal of the Company's property ( which I strongly deny, they say that I stole drink syrup for a personal drink. However this was normal to have a drink on shift with even the managers and general manager doing it)
Serious neglect of duties, or a serious or deliberate breach of your Contract or operating procedures ( I made a drink with cherry and offered my colleague a sip and it turns out she was allergic to cherry)
I just want to know how this will affect my application and whether it will stop me getting registered. I regret what happened and hope it won't effect my future.
