A Message to the Mighty Max Community

Patience is a virtue — and in a world of instant gratification, it’s becoming a rare one. If you’re here for the Mighty Max Remastered Project, know this: this is a long-term journey, not a sprint. I have no plans to abandon the series or stop creating Mighty Max content anytime soon. This project will be ongoing for years to come.

There will be periods of silence — sometimes days, weeks, or even months. This isn’t because I’ve quit. It’s because I’m either dealing with real-life responsibilities or actively working behind the scenes: hunting for better sources, testing new technology, upgrading hardware and software, and saving for better tools. This is a one-person volunteer project, and work of this scale simply takes time.

I strongly encourage you to bookmark the page and stay connected. Those who understand that this is a long game will be rewarded with steady improvements and fresh Mighty Max content no one else is making.

What Version 1 Was Really About (2023–Present)

Version 1 was never primarily about making the episodes look dramatically better. Its main goal was to build a dedicated fan hub — a complete, organized catalog of the series where fans could easily find every episode in one place.

It served as a foundation: locating the best available copies online, cleaning them up with basic corrections (color balance, brightness, contrast, removing video/audio static and artifacts), and presenting them in a clean, consistent way. Version 1 was also an experiment — a way to test what resonated with fans and to invite others into the process. I wanted to create a “building kit” of sorts so that new editors could learn and contribute too.

After a full year of dedicated work starting in 2023, Version 1 successfully delivered a much more organized and complete Mighty Max experience than what existed before. It was never about competing with other restorers — it was about doing something new: a conceptual remaster aimed at reviving a forgotten IP for both longtime fans and a brand-new audience.

Moving Forward: Version 2 Is Coming

After extensive testing and learning, I’m now confident and excited to deliver Mighty Max Season 1 – Version 2.

This update represents a major leap forward. We’re shifting focus to:

  • Deblurring and dehazing filters for a sharper, cleaner, more modern look
  • More natural and refined color grading
  • Improved audio sync adjustments
  • A completely new, hand-crafted intro sequence featuring hand-drawn animated characters
  • A nostalgic yet upgraded Bohbot Entertainment advertisement (using Version 1 footage for comparison)
  • Fully rewritten and enhanced end credits
  • Brand-new poster images for every episode with a fresh, higher-quality feel

Additionally, Version 2 will integrate the NTOST2 Album into the episodes, giving the action sequences a more contemporary and immersive music experience.

Once all episodes are complete, I’ll release a Version 1 → Version 2 comparison teaser (screenshots and/or video) so you can see the difference for yourself.

Final Thoughts

This project is built on non-profit principles. I strongly believe we should work together to preserve and revive Mighty Max properly instead of allowing piracy and unauthorized profiteering to damage its chances of an official return. The goal is to expand the fanbase, honor the original series, and help bring it back for future generations.
