Downgrade Cisco 3802i AP

I have a Cisco 3802i AP running 17.15.4 but need to downgrade so I can join a WLC version of 8.2.170.0

When I try to downgrade using the archive download-sw it says it can't downgrade because the OS is to old. I'm trying to load 15.3.3 JC15 onto it. I tried to get it to downgrade from the U-Boot menu, but had no luck. I cannot upgrade the controller. I've been at this for a couple hours and couldn't get anywhere.

Helping new people in the tech field!

Hey everyone!

I’ve been thinking about putting together some networking content focused on breaking down technical topics into simpler, easier-to-digest explanations. Over the years, I’ve found that getting a high-level understanding first and then diving deeper made learning much more approachable, especially with more complex networking concepts.

I’m curious what kinds of content people would actually find useful or want to see more of. Things I’ve considered covering include:

• Step-by-step how-to guides
• Explanations of topics like BGP, VLANs, microsegmentation, routing, etc.
• Troubleshooting tips and real-world scenarios
• Handy cheatsheets and quick references for those late-night maintenance windows

A lot of the motivation comes from remembering how difficult some topics and resources were to find or fully understand when starting out. If there’s anything you wish had been explained better when you were learning networking, I’d love to hear it.

I recently put together a site for sharing some of this content and would appreciate any feedback, suggestions, or ideas on topics people would want covered.

I'm trying to block or pause internet on one of my devices, but when I block it from my router, it still allows the device to connect and reach the internet, despite being blocked. Is there something that I'm missing?

I have the UCG Ultra running firmware version 5.0.16 and network app version of 10.3.58 and a Cisco switch sitting behind it.

I've tried a mess of things but can't seem to get it to work. I did try to submit a ticket on the Unifi website, but when I click the button, it doesn't do anything. I love how unifi markets this to large enterprise, but can barely get MAC filtering/blocking to work. I wouldn't trust this in any more than a home with 2 people in it.... Does this feature work for anyone else?
