So, real talk, do you think Luo is going to be revealed as a hero in or the end of S2?

On the one hand, it makes sense and somewhat narratively fits for him to live on Cyan's dream of living as a normal person while she on carries his dream / carries his color of being a hero. He also clearly gave it up so that Cyan could be free- and Cyan now knows how corrupt / ugly the hero world is- and may have told him.

On the other, the "new type of hero" is clearly supposed to be one independent of the structure that fate and the companies have created over the world, public consumption / media obsession, and while still being self-driven and having heroic qualities. Luo and Xin Ya are really the only two members of the cast who fit this bill- both being heroic / selfless regardless of personal benefit and having their acts of heroism go completely under the radar / not driven by public obsession or a burst of fame.

Haolin has said he wants the core supporting cast to return. The prime targets would be Xia Qing, Luo, and Nuonuo as they all were written to survive their arcs, and maybe Xin Ya, Pomelo, or, if you count him as a major supporting character, Wreck. Naturally, they would need something to do. Luo, like Cyan, is one of the characters who could be taken in many directions in s2- and considering everything, would likely have tangled plots. But this doesn't mean his plot has to be about being a hero.

Little Johnny B-day Day 2026

Twitter community ignores a lot. Throwing LJ (and the talented artists behind this) a bone since it isn't right many on Twitter ignore his related stuff unless shipping him with his dad's killer.

My coldest take if that this community (not Reddit, but the show's fanbase in general) needs to get over only focusing on yaoi and actually support the fan artists / fan content makers instead of just complaining there is no official content- or else the show will die out.

I think the artbook indirectly/ soft confirms that this is Luo in one of the show's older trailers.

Luo's original design- namely skin color hairstyling,, and hair color are a 1:1 match to Cyan's backup guitarist. Both seem to be in their 21 year old designs.

Said guitarist also has a black guitar that matches Cyan's. Luo's original guitar is currently hanging on Cyan's wall, so he would need a new one- and a matching black one suits their common color scheme.

We do see Luo's final design in later trailers (quite often actually) but these are taken directly from the show. This trailer doesn't really reuse clips- they are original.

Side note: Thank you Haolin for going with the final design. Adult Luo has a 5head rivaling Cyan's.
