Hi everyone,

I’m applying for my first residence permit in Germany as a student, and I’m really confused about the financial proof part.

How much money do we actually need to show for the residence permit extension/first RP? Is it the same amount as the student visa blocked account requirement, or can it be less depending on the duration?

Would really appreciate if someone who recently went through the process could share their experience. Thanks!
