The main menu, especially the Character tab, is a mess

By Eru!!

Why are "Traits" and "Crafting" panels not in the "Character" tab? It's about our character's progression, put it in! Why is "Hobby" singular even though there are two? Why is the "Legendary Items" panel still here even though it serves no purpose anymore? Why is there a "Mounts" option even though it exists in BOTH the "Collection" panel and the "Skills" panel (the Skills panel is its own separate rant, btw)? And just now while staring at this menu, I discovered the Destiny panel after 1800 hours. The hell?

And for god's sake, just throw "Instance Finder", "Skirmish", "The War", "Mounted Combat" and "Epic Battles" in a separate Battle category or something!!

It's a huge mess and doesn't make sense at all! We hates it!!! We hates it foreveeeer!!!

Thank you for your attention and I'll go calm down with some farming.

Are graphic mods possible for LOTRO?

Not talking about Reshade here, I'm thinking something like FFXIV's Penumbra mod that can modify your character's looks with custom face texture/makeup, hair, etc. I don't know much about it, but apparently Penumbra gets loaded alongside FFXIV without touching game files (and thus not breaking TOS, I'd assume...?). Would it be doable for LOTRO?

What are your weirdest stories in LOTRO?

I want to hear your misshaps and strange encounters in the game!

My weirdest moment was around three years ago, when I was approached by a Human player in Bree. I play a more masc Woman Champion with a great axe, and for some reason this guy immediately asked me out on a date, and offered me a very pink dress that he asked I wear for the date. He also asked me to go to the barber so that I change my hair from very short to very long, and tried to rizz me through RP.

I don't remember much after that but since I had nothing better to do, I obliged even if it felt pretty weird to see my character in a feminine pink outfit😱 It felt like I was crossdressing somehow, since my character is as gender-neutral as possible. Had to put a stop to it when he started making weird propositions though.

What are your stories?? I'm so curious!!

Ìs it realistic to apply for a Working-Holiday visa in 2027 to take the the Nursing Care Skills Evaluation Test exam?

Hello, I apologize for any grammar issues as English isn't my first language. I will also delete the post later. As the title says :

My understanding is that Japan is understaffed (and underpaid, but that's the standard everywhere...) for elderly care, so they're recruiting abroad now.

My current plan is to apply for a Working Holiday Visa for 2027, study hard for the "Nursing Care Skills Evaluation Test" (介護技能評価試験) and attempt to pass it to become a Specified Skill Worker (i). I would also need to pass JLPT N4. The Nursing Care exam has both Japanese (oral test) and English (written test) parts.

Experience: I have close to 6-7 years of experience as a caretaker for elderly and disabled people in specialized care homes and at home, and have been studying Japanese since highschool so 12-ish years now. I can speak well and write/read hiragana, and read katakana. My biggest hurdle is money (4950 euros needed in bank account to apply, doing my best to save up) and my sworn-enemy, kanji. I have visited Japan three times and stayed there for two months and two weeks, and have several Japanese friends in the Tokyo area.

After one year of visa, I would be eligible to work immediately as I have more than three years of experience.

Is it doable and realistic? Thank you in advance.
