My trading bot has done absolutely nothing for weeks.Bug, bad setup, or just strict filters??
I’m a total beginner at algo trading and have been using a Pine Script on TradingView for GBPUSD for months. I finally got it converted into an MT4 EA using AI for the coding, as I’m not a programmer. The setup is GBPUSD M15, trading only during the London and New York sessions, using a 10/50 SMA trend, pullback entries with a confirmation candle, ADX above 20 and rising, an RSI filter, an SMA spread filter to avoid chop, H1 trend agreement with M15, and Asia range sweeps confirmed by a structure shift. Risk is set to 2%, with a 1.5× ATR stop loss and a 1:1 risk-to-reward ratio. It’s running on a $10k demo, but the balance hasn’t moved at all and I’ve enabled logging to see which filters are blocking trades. is this normal ? weeks without a trade?and which filters would you loosen first? I’m thinking H1 trend agreement and ADX rising,,I’m not sure. Any advice is appreciated
