We all know that, due to the intrinsic and conceptual nature of Bell's character, he is the character with the most potential in the series, and that he will possibly become the strongest adventurer in history in the following 30 years. (if he doesn't lose the falna in the end or is left totally injured for life)

However, it's curious how, knowing this, it's almost certain to say that Bell won't be the strongest character in his work at the end of the novel, because we won't see those 29 more years, we will only see his first year as an adventurer.

What do you think about the fact that we'll probably never see Bell's prime as an adventurer?

I mean, the juggernaut on floor 58 is only level 7, so why is the ultimate threat-clearing dungeon monster weaker than a 9 floors higher floor boss monster ?

In MS14 it was established from the beginning that amphisbaena and the juggernaut were more or less relative in level, with the juggernaut being more dangerous due to its speed, but not here.

There's no way the Jug is stronger than Balor, because a pseudo-level 7 Ryuu was able to kill him, making clear that level 6 Ottar could also kill him, and we know he can't defeat Balor at level 6.

So why is he so weak now?

I genuinely don't know what's going on with the show's plausibility. The war game and the fight against Reginas were already enough crap, and now we're really supposed to believe they'll defeat the OEBD and that's it?

Why is Omori now simply ignoring the power scaling he himself created when crafting his narrative? The war game should have ended in a one-sided defeat; Reginas should have killed everyone there. Why is the author being so mediocre with his work?

Don't get me wrong, there are still good moments in SO16/MS21 but the consistency of quality is at rock bottom.

Raul surviving Reginas' attack by a random Xenos? What?

Amid surviving the wind of reginas? What?

Lefiya surviving alone on the 60th floor with only one arm? What?

Welf reacting to Allen's speed and interrupting his chant? What?

Also, the whole thing with Bell's mutilation is ridiculous. It's just an average injury for him, with no real impact on the story. Mutilating him once has no consequences... okay, but twice? Lol

Ryuu, the best character in MS, almost reduced to a silly, ridiculous, lovestruck girl... where are her intelligent, wise lines? Why isn't her heroine portrayal shown? Where is her annoyance with the guild for trying to take resources away from the students of the school district?

I was so excited to see her rematch against the jug.. but surprise, it was completely cut and it's just known that she won.

There are so many problems with this series that I can genuinely just laugh at the decline it took, what a... genuine... shame

She has good personality with everyone but bell lol
