The skincare habits I’ve actually been able to maintain long term

Over time, I’ve realized that my skincare routine works much better when I focus on consistency instead of constantly changing things. It’s tempting to try every new ingredient or trending routine, but I’ve found that giving my routine time and keeping it manageable makes a much bigger difference.

I’ve also started paying more attention to the experience of skincare itself. When a routine feels enjoyable rather than rushed or overly complicated, I’m much more likely to stay consistent with it.

Another thing I’ve become interested in is how people incorporate beauty tools into their routines without letting them replace the basics. I think additional steps make the most sense when they complement what you’re already doing and are easy enough to maintain.

I’ve recently been incorporating Sculpiflex into my routine as an additional self-care step, and I like that it combines red light therapy with massage/cupping and microcurrent in one handheld device.

For me, skincare has gradually become less about having the most extensive routine and more about creating habits that actually fit into everyday life.
