Some of these placements on this grid are wild lol
Others might be open to debate, but Elon Musk is certainly an authoritarian—at the very least, he could move up 50 meters.

Family dinners are wild. My grandfather is straight up chilling in the top right next to Donald John Trump...
A year ago I was way out there in lib-left, but now I’ve drifted back to the center. This shows we basically span the entire grid. No wonder we can’t agree on anything.
What's your family breakdown look like?
Okay so I finally convinced my family to do the political spectrum thing and the results were honestly too predictable and yet also kind of fascinating.
Let me break it down:
Grandfather is sitting way up in the authoritarian-right corner like he's personally protecting the free market with military force. Zero surprise there — the man still thinks the government should regulate what time you eat dinner but also that taxes are theft. Classic boomer energy cranked to 11.
Mom and Older Sister are both clustered in the authoritarian-right zone too, just a little closer to center. Basically the "we believe in hard work and family values but also appreciate a Costco membership" demographic. Solid, predictable, very Thanksgiving-table-argument fuel.
Dad breaks the mold — he's drifting libertarian-left, which honestly tracks because he's the one who always says "let people do what they want" but also thinks corporations are screwing everyone over. Man contains multitudes.
Younger Sister is the wildcard — full libertarian-left, almost bottom-left quadrant. She's like 22 and listens to a lot of podcasts. I'm not judging. I respect it.
Now HERE'S the wild part. Me, one year ago — I was sitting slightly libertarian-right, pretty close to center. Nothing crazy.
Me now? I've drifted authoritarian-left. Not dramatically, but noticeably. I'm the only one in my family on the economic left at all, and I'm now somehow more authoritarian than my year-ago self? My therapist would probably have thoughts about this.
The big takeaway: in a family of five, four landed economically right, one went left (me), and the libertarian-authoritarian split basically mapped perfectly onto age. Older = more authoritarian, younger = more libertarian, with one glorious exception (Dad, forever doing his own thing).
Curious if anyone else sees clear generational or cultural patterns in their family compass clusters. Drop yours below!
Apparently I'm so close to the center that the app had to reach for Churchill to describe me.
the quote was about how the average voter can't see what leaders can. which is funny because I genuinely don't know what I believe half the time either
map puts me next to Macron and Zelensky. not who I expected but honestly could be worse
