Hi all, I'm a first-year student and have currently been experiencing some mental health issues, which have significantly impacted my ability to study for my exam. I was wondering how hard it was to get an exam postponed. I do not like sharing too much information about my health, so would I be required to disclose all the specifics or is a medical certificate stating that I am unfit for university on the exam date enough? Any help is appreciated as I am still in the early stages of figuring out my mental condition and as a result, do not have a proper diagnosis. Is it best to email the unit chair about it or apply through the normal special considerations pathway as the exam is next week? Thank you for any help, as it is much appreciated.
