What's your favorite Pasqal Build?

I really like him as an Executioner:
With Dual Wield he can either smash an enemy back and then shoot it with a plas/meltagun, or he can sweep with an Omnissian Axe and then shove them back with a Mechadendrite or use the Executioner ability that makes them run THEN shoot them.

Plus since he wants INT anyway, using his Medicae in place of his toughness for wounds makes him pretty solid.

Think I've settled on my new RT for June 11th (Spoiler Free), what about you?

My current Dogmatic playthrough has been stalled for several months, but I do want to do one since I've already done Iconoclast and Heretical. I *really* want to do a Psyker/Soldier, but my Heretic was a Soldier and, due to some story choices, basically ended up being partially Psyker anyway so I've been mulling.

I could do an Arbites since I haven't dabbled with that yet, but I want to use Solomorne without feeling I'm constantly overlapping his skillset.

So I think I'm going to take the plunge and do an Operative. Crimelord background: She was a wetworker (sniper) for a criminal Syndicate that just started to get a little too loose with their faith and devotion and she didn't care for the way she saw the future unfolding. Eventually she fomented a coup with other, likeminded, Soldats and overthrew and executed the ruling body. Can't decide yet how she feels about the Cold Trade: I'm tempted to say she eschews it because that makes sense for dogmatic AND it would force me to use the non-Aeldari Longrifles and such, but maybe she still retains some of that criminal pragmatism and is willing to use the tools of the Xenos against them for the good of the Imperium.

Thinking Forgeworld homeworld, though the min/maxer in me wants to choose Voidborn so I can use Int in place of Fellowship for abilities and skill checks. have to mull on it.

What about you, fellow Rogue Traders? Are you starting new on the 11th? Bringing back an old favorite? Or just incorporating it into your current playthrough?

Anyone else sometimes struggle with the scope of your powers even BEFORE being a Rogue Trader?

Especially since in a lot of 40k media and roleplay you're basically nothing, nobody, just the flakes of rust that fall off the grinding gears of the Imperium. That's who we (I) are used to making.

But even before you were a Rogue Trader you were a Fleet Admiral, an Arch Deacon. You weren't some criminal scum you were the head of a Criminal EMPIRE. I think the lowest powered are either a Psyker or, ironically, a Commissar.

Sometimes I find it hard to come up with who my Rogue Trader is when they've lived an entire life BEFORE the game even starts. Anyone else?
