My Irish Terrier is WONDERFUL

She's nearly 5 months old now and is the smartest thing. She is so focused on me when we train, she has no personal boundaries, she loves to eat, she's got the most perfect scruffy coat, she loves every person and every dog she meets. Her favorite thing to do is train with her kibble. Either that or be involved in everything I do. She is far from perfect and she is perfect for me.

... can you tell this is my first weekend away from her?

So Frustrated and Can't Get Hired

Hi everyone! I finished my first year teaching in the spring and unfortunately got laid off. I LOVED the kids and my coworkers and it really was unfortunate. However, the situation I find myself in now is even more unfortunate. I just can't get hired. Not even an interview. I have three certification areas and went to an elite college (not that it really matters but could make me more desirable) and have excellent letters of recommendation. Time is running out and I can't even get a long term sub job. What am I supposed to do?? Advice or just commiseration would be great :(

Edit: I am also bilingual and have worked only in urban settings

When did you do your first hand strip?

My pup is too young but wondering at what age you started. I'm looking to learn to do it myself. I have been conditioning her to pulling gently at her fur and the black puppy fur has come out. Thanks for your help!

15 Weeks and First Vacation!

Acadia is now 15 weeks and just went swimming, kayaking, and playing with her cousin (11 months old)! She has lost almost all the black on her back and she’s growing like a weed. We even had to trim the hair between her paw pads 🥺
