Had a rough second semester. Placed on academic warning. Retaking one class fall semester so i’m not worried about my gpa at all (It was an easy A class, my mental health made it hard) Will they send a letter to my home?

I’m really not proud of the way my second semester of college went, regardless of the “everyone has one bad semester” phrase. Is it possible to raise my overall gpa to a 3.5? Currently have 30 credits as of now. I know I can do better, but I will need to change the way I work and study.
