We went to the local Strawberry Festival and had an absolute blast! Strawberries and blueberries have been treats before so she was thrilled to find them growing on plants. It was a job to keep her away from the plants and to keep her from plucking them.
It was great music and amazing vibes!
I have been working at making sure that Thisbe is socialized from the start and oh my goodness - maybe it is just because she is a puppy, but I have never felt like I have had such a big spotlight on me.
Everyone stops us to chat and to meet her. Which is great for socializing her but sometimes I wish that I could hide. And I never know how to respond to the 'it's a dalmatian' whispers. I feel rude if I don't respond somehow and I feel like I am seeking attention if I do 😭
I wanted a dog to get myself out more. The cats, though I love them dearly, only encourage me to bed rot. And Thisbe has definitely gotten me out and talking to people. I just did not expect it to be this much interaction from people 😂 Has been a big change as I am super introverted
I assume that it lessens once they aren't puppies anymore?
