Out of all the teams in pre-split BFB Free Food is undoubtedly the most forgettable, which sucks since its a really fun bunch of characters

First of all Fries leading a team was really fun to see, and in general I really liked him in this era, im ngl BFB might be his best season for me in terms of personality, and he had really fun interactions with everyone on his team

Eraser and Yellowface were really fun this season to, a problem I have with TPOT Eraser is sometimes (mostly with Teardrop) he acts less like hes trying to he "cool" and stuff (tho after TPOT 9 he was pretty much back to normal, even if he never really went away) so even though he didnt do much he was still a fun presence, and honestly this is just a really solid Yellow Face season, probably his best besides TPOT

Foldy could of been interesting moving forward, even tho she was mad hated at the time I think her rivalry with Freesmart could of been real fun

Bell is still one of the most underated characters in the show, and while I think she's better in TPOT I still really liked her this season, dont got much to say about her besides that tho

Puffball in general was super underutilized this season so obviously more screentime for her would be great, tho I cant really see them doing much with her anyways besides maybe expanding her relationship with Fries or smth

And lastly theres Marker, even tho I dont really like him it would of been cool for them to expand on his friendship with Stapy and Foldy

Oh and well Stapy was already eliminated but I also wish he got more to do ngl (I even voted for him in TPOT 12, which nowadays I would of probably used it on someone else but I still stand by it)

But yeah honestly this team deserved better, its nowhere near the worst team this season (I mean the losers are right there) but they are definetly bottom half due to their screentime alone

If Pin stayed in TPOT 16 I bet they'd probably so something w them this season, but either way it felt like a huge missed opportunity

It also would have been cool to see Pin talk to maybe Pen or Donut about Pencil since they try to help her, maybe Pin would be against it or feel sympathetic due to her past

Either way this dynamic is just really fun and I kinda wished it was explored more past BFDIA

This one's short because ive been working on something special, so ye

For me, its Robot Flower

Their arc is one of the best in TPOT imo, and ontop of that seeing them act like S1 Flower was really fun

That isnt the only reason I like them tho, I just think their regular personality is really fun, and im glad that we got atleast 1 episode where she got to act like herself again before getting out (also random side note but TPOT 14 is really underated)

Genually a top 10, maybe even top 5 character for me

Idk about you guys but I don't think ive ever seen a single person say anything negative about the goat, which I don't think I can really say about any other character

I think theres three factors for why this is:

1. He's consistently one of the funniest characters in the show
2. He's not seen very often, usually only making an appearance for special occasions (so he's not very oversaturated)
3. He doesn't outshine the contestants (while hosting)

I also think it helps that he shows little emotion, like during his rude moments since he isnt showing any actual emotion people dont take it as him being mean and more of just him being funny again (it also helps with a lot of his humor)

Idk I just thought it was kinds fun to think about

Also uh fun fact if you didn't know that ig

In one of the early scenes of BFB 1, we see Leafy ask Cloudy, Nickel, Gaty, and 8-Ball if they wanna be friends with her. Nickel and Cloudy agree which Leafy seems to be delighted by while Gaty kindly rejects her. Leafy then makes a big deal about it and gets mad at Gaty for not immediately wanting to be friends with her, while the Chad 8-Ball aura farms and just sits there while Leafy storms off the scene.

Later in the episode when team picking starts Leafy goes around asking a bunch of people to join her team so she can help them, and at the same time that she takes in Rocky and Woody she also grabs Nickel and Cloudy for BEEP, who seemingly stick out of the people shes gathered so far as not really needing any help. Sure the two aren't the most capable contestants but they are definitely not as a liability as the others shes grabbed (Woodys afraid of everything, Rocky doesnt talk and just barfs everywhere, and Roboty literally can barely move and cant communicate with the others, just seen as a tool to most). Now that brings me to the conclusion that she probably wanted them on the team since they agreed to be friends with her earlier in the episode, since she knows that they won't be mad about being on a team with her (plus, Gaty is noticeably absent from the invite even tho she was with Cloudy and Nickel before).

Am I looking to deep into this? Probably but I think its a cool way to interpret this scene and Leafy as a character.

Wish I made the design a bit cooler but oh well

With Leafy and two joke characters (3 if you count Rocky) on his team there was no way Nickel would ever get out. The only way they could have succeeded in getting him out is if they pulled a Firey jr. with him and make him super unlikable for an episode and put him UFE, but he always stayed as the same guy with his silly lines and fading into the background, which is great for. VTE format due to not getting much attention from viewers. I'd even argue that if BEEP was ​put UFE 8 times in BFB that Nickel would be one of the last members to leave, only getting beat out by Cloudy and maybe Woody.

I just find it really interesting that Satomi did this even with Nickels almost zero chance of getting out, what do you think?

Also jsyk if Satomi wasnt biases to Nickel than we could of had David in TPOT 😔
