Not sure if I should do IBDP or AP
My HS offers both IBDP and AP courses and you're allowed to choose some DP courses. Right now I'm sort of locked in on IBDP courses until I change my mind and after hearing some things concerning the program I'm having second thoughts.
I'm planning to do Civil Engineering at a local university (very good program) and get a separate degree overseas (I'm already guaranteed to get into that university, I don't necessarily have an incentive to do IB for international schools as a result) and from what I've gathered an IB diploma holds roughly the same weight as AP classes, however the latter are less stressful and won't tank your social life and I'm doing several varsity sports (they're not incredibly important however)
I'm not so sure if I should continue with the IB programme or I should just do AP since I'll be going to an American college. Any thoughts?
