Battle Of the Budget Tablets: S9 FE vs S10 Lite vs A11+

I see a lot of people asking if the S9 FE or the S10 Lite is the better tablet...... and then there's the A11+....

From a performance aspect the A11+ is the fastest of the three and the most satisfying of the three to use...

IF I had to describe it it feels smoother and is better suited to multitasking

The ONLY thing it really needs to be the ultimate budget tablet is pen support

Compare Galaxy Tab S9 FE vs Galaxy Tab A11+ (Plus): which is better? | NR

----------------------------------------------

Well simply put the S9 FE & S10 Lite are almost identical other than the following:

S9 FE has a 249 ppi display, 45w charging, fingerprint sensor

S10 Lite has a 228 ppi display, 25w charging and no fingerprint sensor

The S10 Lite gets a total of 7 OS & 7 years security updates (6 OS & 6 years security updates remain)

The S9 FE gets a total of 4 OS & 5 years security updates (2 OS & 3 years security updates remain)

Performance wise they are identical and if both are bought new they should last at least 5 years.

Yet due to the fact the S10 Lite has longer software support it is the obvious choice in 2026

If you are in college and need a tablet with a pen either of these are fine options especially if you have a laptop....

-----------------------------------------

One LAST thing I should add is if you are getting a tablet as your primary device on a budget I STRONGLY recommend saving a little extra money and get the S10 FE as it's just enough of an performance upgrade over the S9 FE & S10 Lite and is worth the extra money

It's also worth adding the S10 FE is equal in performance to the S8 so it offers the performance of an older flagship.

I've seen quite a few replies in posts about how the A11+ is so much slower than the FE series and honestly it's just not as much of a difference as people are claiming.

Obvious what set the FE & Lite series apart from the A series is that they have the s-pen, yet that doesn't affect the benchmarks. There's no longer a difference in updates as now all tablets currently being made by Samsung get 7OS & 7 years of security updates

If we compare the A11+ to the S10 FE we see a performance difference of 30% overall in favor of the S10 FE according to the benchmarks.

If we take a look at a more evenly matched comparison between the A11+ and S9 FE we see the A11+ is 5.5% faster overall.

The same is true when we compare the A11+ to the S10 Lite (as the S10 Lite is basically the S9 FE)

------------------------------------------------

Interestingly enough there's an even greater performance difference between the S9 and the S11 series (42% overall) yet some on here will recommend the S9 over the S11

At the end of the day, the myths about the A11+ simply aren't true.

Yet at the same time folks buy into the myths about the S11 series as not being as good as the S9 series even though the benchmarks clearly say otherwise

As everyone already knows the S7/8/9 & 10 plus models have a 12.4" display and I agree that it's a lovely size.

I ended up going with the Redmi Pad Pro as it felt more comfortable than the S9 FE+ to use, while the Lenovo P12 and it's 12.7 display felt unusually long

Yet I am wondering why Samsung went with the 12.4" display rather than a 12.1" or 12.7"?

Any and all insight would be greatly appreciated!

I apologize in advance if this is confusing and not well thought
