Sms Trinity heat problem

Hi, didnt think id be here after all the reviews saying its basically good to go.

After 8 minutes of shooting at 100 rounds total on a Spear LT I tried to use the laser latching feature (push twice and stays on), when hot it quits working after 2 seconds.....

When testing if the laser stays on if the button is physically held it stays on. When it cooled all the way back to room temp the laser latching feature works again.... not a low battery, it was fully charged. Issue occurred with the switch plugged in and unplugged.

If im using the ir flood to see, and need a free hand this deficiency may cause issues

Maybe its minor, maybe its how I want to use it, maybe its indicative of not enough heat testing by previous people/company's. Idk ill leave that up to reddit.com.

Thats all I have for today's episode of every time I go to the range something breaks or fails.

Silver solder on supressor?

There's not much information online about silver soldering instead of P&W, but Im hoping someone has some experience they can share. I have the same parts as the picture above. Spear LT 11.5", gemtech trek supressor and want to perminantly attach the two to become rifle length to avoid becoming an sbr for interstate reasons. ATF rules say that silver solder that melts at 1100°F is acceptable. I dont want to destroy the supprssor if I ever want to remove a P&W to change to a different supressor. Has anyone had issues or sucess soldering on and or removing barrel extensions like this? The lack of info on soldering and domination of P&W makes me think that there may be underlying issues with the solder method. Id just hate to cut up the P&W wrench section of a can just to get it off.

Thank you for your assistance
