love for you ending

Overall, Love for You has been a good drama, but honestly, I had a lot of expectations because of the two big leads. The drama was really interesting at the beginning, but then the storyline kind of dipped. They started diverting away from the main couple's connection, and around episodes 20–25 it became pretty boring.

It finally picked up again once they started focusing more on their story instead of giving so much screen time to the side characters' POVs, which was honestly the main reason I was starting to get pissed.

SPOILER:

The last episode was such a disappointment because we were literally robbed of the proposal and most expected wedding scenes😭😭😭😭

Half of episode 32 was just their friends asking them things like, "When's the wedding?" or "When are you going to propose?" But here we are... we never even got to see the proposal or the wedding itself. After all the buildup and watching this drama for a whole month, I genuinely feel like we deserved those happy moments. It felt like the drama skipped the payoff we were all waiting for.

Also, is it just me, or did the ML feel emotionally drained after the case ended? I don't know if it was intentional, but he felt so quiet and kind of... off. He didn't feel like the same person he was earlier in the drama🫠🫠

And honestly, ending the drama on the terrace just didn't do it for me. No offense, but I would've much preferred an epilogue showing them married or even with a kid.

The novel even gave them a daughter, and those extra chapters had such cute family moments. Chen Yi and their daughter would both compete for the ML's attention, and it was honestly adorable. I really wish the drama had adapted at least some of that instead of ending where it did.

Don't get me wrong..I still enjoyed the drama overall. But after all the hype and the emotional investment, I expected a lot more from the ending. I know everyone will have different opinions, but for me, the finale just felt like a missed opportunity.
