Looking to get in as a pipefitter. I have 4 years experience and went to school but not seeing a date on the website that I’m able to start application process. Can I just drive up there and talk to them? I heard they are desperate for welders
I’m 25 and currently work as a welder in Ohio making 30 an hour. I’m home by 4 every day and have 3 weeks pto a year. Would I be a complete dumbass to jump ship and join the electrical union? I’m unhappy in my shop but I’m also aware of how good I have it currently. I also am aware at all the great benefits and pay the union offers. Looking for advice from some experienced electricians that might have taken a leap of faith and a pay cut that paid off in the end.
