I just wanted to give the team a big cheer for one of the new features in Translator: Create custom commands with predefined language pairs. I often work between English and Portuguese. I've created two custom commands, one for going from English to Portuguese, and another in the other direction. They both have aliases and hotkeys. It's now so fast and efficient to do my translating wherever I'm working -- email, WhatsApp, etc. A big THANK YOU!!!

I commented on a problem with Dictation in reply to another post, but here is a full report of a problem with Dictation.

I have Raycast Beta installed on a MacBook Air M4, and a Mac mini M4. On the Mac mini, Dictate works as expected. The input is Studio Display microphone.

On the MacBook Air, Dictate is not working at all. Input device is set to MacBook Air microphone. When I trigger Dictate, either with an alias or hotkey (⌃M), the waveform icon appears. On the Mac mini, that waveform icon animates to show it is receiving input speech. On the MacBook Air it does not animate. On the Mac mini when I stop dictating, Raycast pastes the text into the active application. On the MacBook Air when I stop dictating another pill/icon appears saying "No speech detected."

I know the microphone on the MacBook Air is working because I can use it with macOS dictation.

I'll also use Raycast Send Feedback to post this to Raycast support. Any ideas here on how to track down what might be going on would be appreciated.

I just got v.2 yesterday. It works fine for me on M4 MacBook Air and M4 Mac mini. I know you're working hard on the beta, but I sure do hope iCloud Sync arrives soon. Thanks!

I'm finding Raycast Notes really useful for my on-the-fly notes. I use Bear for more permanent, more organized notes.

When Raycast Notes are open the window is always front. This means if I have several other windows open, the Notes window covers something. I'd like to keep Notes open but be able to put the window in the background, behind another app's window.

Is this possible somehow? If not, could I add it as a feature request?
