Bought used car 14 days ago - looks like there is a problem with the clutch/gearbox. What to do?

As the title says. Bought VW caddy 2012 DSG semi-automatic. When driving last night the gears were changing erratically and sometimes obviously quite late, plus the rev counter was suddenly shooting up. It felt like the car was lurching a little.

I got three months warranty with it, but surely at only 14 days from purchase I could either return the vehicle as not fit for purpose (under consumer rights) or ask them to fix the problem?

My health is terrible at the moment, I’m so tired, what should I do?

Old caddy with low miles, or newer with high?

So. Would you go for a 2012 1.6 tdi with 93k miles or a 2018 2.0tdi with 144k miles?

2012 (£6k) has no log book but receipts that go back 6 years show full services, new Esg, cam belt, water pump, turbo clean.

2018 (£8k) has full service history and loads of work done, all with recipes.

Which would you go for?

Thanks!

Do my results suggest subclinical case

I’m M54 in the UK. I’ve been struggling with my health for over a decade, many symptoms including: gut problems, weight loss (i can’t eat enough consistently because of reflux and bloating, food just doesn’t seem to move through me), feeling the cold even when it’s warm, raynaud’s, brain fog, fatigue, blepharitis, migraine, high cholesterol, frozen shoulders, other tendinitis problems, and I’ve been getting low heart rate warnings from my Fitbit.

Had no real diagnosis apart from ibs(!).

I’ve been looking through recent bloods and i noticed that my serum TSH has ranged between 4.639 mU/L to 3.4 mU/L

My serum free T4 19.5 pmol/L to 12.6 pmol/L

I see in the notes that they wanted to keep an eye on the levels, but nothing has ever been suggested as potentially wrong, or potentially implicated in my health problems.

Could these levels suggest a thyroid issue given my symptoms? TIA.
